@MayorSlyJames If the #Chiefs organization & #KCMO can handle the #BelcherTragedy , then why can't we be trusted to host a #SUPERBOWL ??
I started with that question on Twitter.
Then I stopped to think about it. It was not the correct way to display my feelings and sounded a little sharp.
So I thought this would be a far more effective way to communicate that Tweet.
#KCMO handled the All-Star game with class.
I'm sorry to repeat myself, but #KCMO is not a baseball town. It's a football town.
@SaveOurChiefs has more followers then Arrowhead holds. All the baseball writers for the #KansasCityStar don't have as many followers as SaveOurChiefs.
Regardless, the bottom line is it's time for the #NFL to consider #KansasCity as a #SuperBowl location.
Global Warming is here and so the weather is unpredictable. New York is getting a #SuperBowl and they probably have more days of precipitation then #KCMO does.
In the end, this fan base needs some sign from #Goddell & the League that they value the Kansas City brand and that we are part of the future of the NFL.

S5 - First 8 Recap - BB
Breaking Bad - Season 5 - First 8 Season Recap
This was a very difficult task. Take a TV show u care about and do weekly recaps.
Will I do this for the last 8? Maybe
Was I any good at it? Not really
Do people do this for a living? Yes
The last question is the problem with this idea of doing recaps. Sepinwall, Ryan, Daily Beast, Vulture, EW, & Uproxx are all very good recaps & are expected to have it up and ready by Monday morning. On the other hand, my recaps have no time expectations. If I read theirs then we might share the same thoughts. At that point because their thought was published first, my thought becomes unoriginal. I'm good with all of that. That is why my recaps take a little longer and may run together at times. I am doing this for you the reader. Take it for what you want. It's not for everyone. However, you have to know what's going on.
Disclaimer Over - So #jewfrollowers , have my recaps been original? If you enjoy them, please let me know in the comments. That would help me decide if I were to do them next Summer for the Final 8 episodes.
Breaking Bad's Final 8 episodes should be a wild ride. This show is trying to top The Wire or The Sopranos as the best produce TV show post 2001.
The first 8 of the final season was a huge bust!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of these Final 8, there are only 3 worth discussing in the season recap.
Live Free or Die
The "Lost" style Flash Forward with Walt celebrating his 52nd BDay at a random Denny's diner. He meets a guy to buy a large gun. The guy was familiar looking. Hmm..
Dead Freight
Some of the recappers loathed this episode, some liked it. I loved this episode!! It might be my favorite episode in the entire series. It was an instant classic. It had great theater and an unexpected outcome. Robbing a train to make Meth. Classic...
Gliding Over All
The episode where the shit hit the fan. Not sure I buy the last scene. However, Hank was going to find out that "Walt = Heizenberg" , I guess the how is not very important. They needed a cliff hanger for the first eight, so this was the logical leaving point. However, finishing Boardwalk S3, Terence Winter says cliffhangers are a weak way out. Take that BB!! Take that Walking Dead! Take that AMC!
Lydia was a very interesting character. At first, I thought she was dog shit. Then I re-watched a few episodes to better prepare for this recap and she began to grow on me.
The other cliffhanger is Jesse. The last scene between Walt and Jesse was really intense and may lead to Jesse turning on his former partner. Obviously, Hank is going to suspect Jesse as the one who got Walt into the Meth business and may know more about Walt's empire. Jesse is too big of a character to just ride into the sunset.
I believe that these first 8 episodes of Season 5 is the low point of the show. Breaking Bad has had a run of 3 excellent summers. However, as 2012 ends, I can see Breaking Bad's final 8 episodes in the near future. I am looking forward to Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Downton Abbey Season 3 and Southwoodland before Breaking Bad returns from a "NOT NEEDED" break.
Crap I didn't care about in S5-First 8-BB...
- Skyler's craziness
- Mike's death (yea, he was a character on the show, but he was no Gus)
- Beneke! Again!
Things I would like to see more...
- Gomez's role in the DEA
- Walt Jr's social life - (couldn't hire some teen age dudes and do a few scenes?)
- More Saul
- More Junk Yard owner
The Last 8 Questions of Episodes 40-48
Do you agree that its BULLSHIT what AMC has done by breaking up the last season of the show into a 2 year 16 episode run?
Is everyone going to die?
If not, who survives?
Does Gilligan know how its going to end when he finished "Gliding Over All"?
Did you buy the scene with Hank on the John?
How will these first 8 be viewed down the road?
Will Walt sleep with another women besides Skyler before he dies?
Does Breaking Bad have enough momentum to finish on top?
Thank you for reading.

Update 8/2/2013
Here it is..
The Final 8 episodes of Breaking Bad..
1 week away....
Some quick predictions:
Jesse - dead
Todd - dead
Skyler - lives
Maria - lives
Lydia - lives
Gomez - lives
Walt Jr - dies
Hank - (hardest call) lives
Walt's daughter - dead
The man has to lose everything that motivated him to start his crooked ways. Heisenberg will die, Walt will lose both his children & Skyler will go into witness protection. Only thing that makes sense in my head. Walt was/is going to die. That was the whole premise of the show.
IMO Breaking Bad will go out on top. They will not be able to top The Wire, but will end on a higher note then Lost & Sopranos.
I will not be doing a weekly recap this year. Not enough time & I am still waiting for the first comment on this stupid blog.
However, I will do a full breakdown of the final 8 & a series decomposition to discuss the results of what should be an incredibly exciting 8 weeks of television.
BTW, I will not watch Talking Bad unless they have me as a guest.
Until next time #Jewfromovement ...

Slave 2 the DVR - Fall 2012
What I'm Watching Right Now:
Once Upon A Time / The Good Wife
ER vs. the losties. Right now OUAT is winning, The Good Wife is an excellent show, but they are not a Sunday night show. I think they would do well on Thursday in leadoff. Sunday
Homeland
Just WOW! This is THE fall show of 2012. Just killing it....
The Walking Dead
Have never spent much time with comic books, but this show is pretty wild. Enjoying the suspense of who survives week to week.
What's becoming baggage:
Boardwalk Empire
This show is having a misrable season. Had a fantastic Season 2.The show misses Jimmy D, but Nucky, Margaret and the villian can't hold my attention. Thank you writers for killing his mistress.
The Vampire Diaries
Can't wrap my head around Elena as a vampire. Pretty much ruins the show for me. Even if she comes back, i'm not sure I will come back. UPDATE, I have since made my departure from this show.
What I'm Excited 4:
Game of Thrones
Southland
Or as my wife and I like to cal it, Southwoodland. Great cop show in Los Angeles.
If you follow me on Twitter, you know my passion 4 Walter White & Jesse Pinkman. The meth cooking/dealing duo season has ended. Come back here 4 my season recap of the last 8 episodes.. I'm such a #BB nerd, I did a S1 & S2 rewatch 2 prepare 4 the final episodes.
Hope 2 see your comments about the best show in YOUR DVR.

Poem #1
PREFACE
This poem was written a long time ago for the Pearl Jam fan club message board before message boards and websites became insanely popular. It was true then and it is true now. It was never published until 2012.
CLARIFICATION
My favorite Nirvana CD is Unplugged. Alternative radio stations across the USA killed Nirvana. It saddens me that his gift was ruined by the people he made it for. I'm guilty. Your guilty. However, Nirvana Unplugged was a transcending concert, CD and TV event.
Pearl Jam seized the moment. They are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame yet, but I'm sure they'll be in Cleveland one day.
This poem is called.....
This poem is called.....
A POEM FOR THE BOARD
Kurt Cobain is dead
Eddie Vedder is alive
Nirvana still lives
Pearl Jam still breathes
Cobain wanted to die
Vedder wanted to live
Cobain never thought
Vedder always thinks
Nirvana were the Royal Kings
Pearl Jam were the Charming Prince
Nirvana was overplayed
Pearl Jam was underplayed
Nevermind was one of the best
Ten was one of the greatest
Nirvana is like The Doors
Pearl Jam is like The Who
What did you think #jewfrollowers? Did you get it? It's a poem....

Breaking Bad Recap - Buyout
Buyout
S5 Ep 6 #52
10 episodes to go...
I thought last week was an excellent episode. Well crafted & thought out. Some recapper's did not like the episode. The guy from the Vulture hated it.
The 1st 8 episodes of S5 seem to be a lot of time wasting. There are only 11 episodes to go & things should ramp up very soon.
Buyout is the name of the 52nd episode of BB.
Let's dig in to a pivotal episode.
Todd is a sore subject for #TeamMeth & wants to stay in on the game. Jesse is of course distraught over the kid's death & is out voted by Walt & Mike.
Gomez is tailing Mike. If you have been following me, I believe Gomez is working on the inside. This is the 1st scene in which the other side of the argument is displayed. I may be wrong. Mike wants out & recruits a depressed Jesse to sell the Methylamine they just stole for 5 mil a piece. Obviously WW is pissed because he is living his dream as a drug kingpin.
How this plays out could finally give us some inside to the first scene of Season 5 at Denny's.
The next 2 scenes finally begin to move the entire story forward.
We meet a man named Deckland. He is a buyer for the kingpin out of PHX. He wants the "Blue" or "Fring's Blue" off the streets. No deal is done without the consent to sell the whole stuff. Deckland is a very familiar looking actor from another show.
Then we see a scene at the White's residence with Jesse trying to convince Walt to sell his share. "Grey Matter" is brought back into the fold and the long time viewers finally get some insight into what went down.
Then we get an awkward, but time wasting dinner scene with Jesse
"the nephew" Walt & Sky. Jesse play's the awkwardness to a tee.
The episode ends with Walt "burning" himself out of a jam & saving his Kingpin status for another day as he mutters, "Everybody Wins."
Now on to the weekly 8 questions:
1. What was the reason Walt left Grey Matter?
2. What is the empire business?
3. Is Todd dealt with?
4. Did Skyler reveal too much to Marie?
5. Is Deckland the person out to kill Walt at the beginning of the season?
6. How long until Hank connects the dots?
7. Can everyone win in this game?
8. Can Breaking Bad finish on top?
Overall, a solid episode. Buyout moved the plot forward. From here on out, we should be on a wild ride.
I think AMC messed up. They should not have spaced Season 5 out so long. In the end it won't 'matter, but it took us 6 episodes to finally get the momentum towards the end game for Walter White aka Heizenbeg.
Until next week #jewfromovement..

Breaking Bad Recap - Dead Freight
Dead Freight
S5 Ep5 #51 of the series
11 episodes to go
I owe everyone an apology. I have been MIA 4 2 weeks. I'm sorry.
The trials & tribulation of trying to jump in the TV recap world was not well thought out. In fact, staring this blog was thought about, but what's scary to think about is there no ending in sight.
The movement has begun & you have plenty of time to get on board.
Now on to Breaking Bad..
Hazard Pay & Fifty One were 2 different episodes.
Hazard Pay moved "Team Meth" forward.
Fifty One moved WW's domestic life forward.
Dead Freight was just insane.
Robbing a train? Are u kidding me.
Bugging Hank's office? Crazy.
Trusting Lydia? I go with Mike.
Todd? Wow! Did not see that coming.
Overall the finest hour of Season 5.
Now on to the 8 questions:
1. Should Anna Gunn win an Emmy?
2. How long until Hank finds the bugs?
3. Is Todd a mental midget?
4. Is Flynn on death row?
5. Is Season 5 part A too much filler?
6. When will the cancer return?
7. How important is Marie to the world of BB?
8. Can Breaking Bad finish on top?
Feel free to comment #jewfrollowers..
Until next week #jewfromovement..
